What is an Evidence Package (.aep)?
An Evidence Package is a tamper-proof ZIP archive containing cryptographic proof of AI agent actions. It can be verified offline without the Aletheia backend.
Contains:- response.txt - Original AI response text
- response_canonical.txt - Canonicalized (normalized) response
- signature.sig - RSA-2048 cryptographic signature
- signature_pqc.sig - Post-quantum ML-DSA signature (quantum-resistant)
- tsa_token.tsr - RFC 3161 timestamp from trusted authority
- public_key.pem - Public key for signature verification
- metadata.json - Response metadata and policy compliance
